Meet The Staff

I love coming to work each day at St Mary’s. I feel very privileged to work alongside such a professional, hardworking and committed staff, a very supportive parent community and fantastic children who bring a smile to my face as I watch them grow, learn and play. I love the culture that exists at the school. There is such a strong sense of welcome and we pride ourselves on building strong, positive relationships with and between families, students and community members. Our staff truly put students and families first in everything they do. I am indeed very lucky to be the leader of such a great school! When I’m not at work, I really enjoy spending time with my family, travelling to new places and reading.

I am very proud to work at St. Mary’s and feel incredibly lucky that I am the Deputy Principal of such a fantastic school. Our school is known for having a welcoming and inclusive culture that values contributions from all in our community. Our professional and dedicated staff always live out the motto, ‘Every child matters, every day’. We value the partnership we have with our parent community to ensure we work together to create the best outcomes for our students. I have a real passion for technology and I enjoy my role at school as the Digital Technology Leader. I am extremely proud of the innovative way our school makes use of technology to allow our students to become creators, not just consumers. I see our students as the future leaders of our community and I am excited to see what contributions and achievements they make in society. Outside of school I love relaxing at home with my family, playing golf and football with my friends and watching Collingwood in the AFL.

St Mary’s is an amazing community to be a part of! I enjoy working alongside a fun, friendly and professional staff along with polite and happy children. On the weekends I love to spend time at the park with my wife, 3 children and golden retriever, Zeus. I like to watch the mighty Collingwood on TV, play golf and enjoy the sunshine when I can.

What I love most about St Mary’s is working alongside friendly and supportive staff. We’re extremely lucky to have such a great group of people here working together. Outside of school I like all sports and enjoy staying fit and healthy.

I enjoy planning with our committed staff to provide rich and authentic learning experiences for all our students across all curriculum areas.
I thoroughly enjoy my Boost role and seeing the positive reading progress and self-confidence our children achieve.
I enjoy spending time with family and extended family in Noosa.

I have been at St. Mary’s School for 30 years. I have seen many changes over the years but what has always remained the same is what a amazing place it is to work.

When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family including my grandchildren.

I work in the office and manage the finance.  The staff at the school are all friendly, caring and approachable, it’s a great environment to work in.  Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

I am fortunate enough to work on the front desk at St Mary’s. I love that every day is different and the positive and friendly atmosphere throughout the entire school. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

I’m grateful to be working in the office at St Mary’s this year. I’ve been part of St Mary’s School as a parent for over 10 years and I love being in and around the office and classroom.

I am fortunate enough to be on the front desk and Personal Assistant to the Learning Diversity Leader and Curriculum Leader. I love interacting with the Students, Families and Staff. Outside of work I love baking, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with my family.

I work in the OSHC and the office. I enjoy hearing  the children laugh and seeing smiles on their faces.  St Mary’s  is a very familiar  place to me as my 6 children have all been educated here. I’ve always loved this school, but now have a deeper appreciation of the  amazing place it is with such dedicated and caring staff who help our children be the best version of themselves.  My favourite thing to do is watching and supporting my children in their chosen sports.

I enjoy my role as Administrator of the 2@ Murlong OSHC program. In my spare time I enjoy sending time with the family, reading and travelling. I love the school grounds and facilities, the staff I work with and enoy my work as no two days are the same!

I love being a Foundation teacher at St. Mary’s. It’s a privilege to teach the first year of a child’s educational journey and see such growth in a fun and stimulating environment. Away from school I love spending time with family and keeping active.

As a past student I feel so privileged to teach at St Mary’s. I love the schools community and am blessed to work alongside the wonderful staff and students each day. In my spare time, I enjoy keeping active and spending time with friends and family.

Teaching foundation at St Mary’s is a great opportunity, the students are eager to learn and fun to teach. I love being a part of their growth and development, during their first year of school. It’s wonderful to be a part of their early learning journey as they become lifelong learners. When not teaching I enjoy cooking, reading, horse riding and camping with my family.

Hi, I’ve worked at St. Mary’s for over 10 years & I am a past student. I’m passionate about Early Years education. Foundation is a level where you witness incredible growth in many areas, including social and emotional. I enjoy keeping active, playing netball and being with my family.

I love St. Mary’s because we get to work with amazing children and their families every day. Each day is full of fun and learning and there is so much on offer at our school. Outside of school I love spending time with my family and catching up with friends for coffee.

I am a Year 6 teacher at St Mary’s and I enjoy my role as it is very rewarding. Outside of school I love to play Netball and spend time with my family.

This school is great because of the supportive environment. The students are a happy lot and every face has a place. I am a Rotarian and passionate about contributing and building bridges within the community. I host a radio show called ‘Harmony Hub’ to promote multicultural understanding.

My favorite thing about working here at St Marys is being able to work with such amazing students who are so motivated to succeed in their learning. It’s also a bonus to be surrounded by such a supportive and insightful staff.

Outside of school I really enjoy being outdoors, playing golf and going fishing and camping.

I enjoy participating in a range of sports in my spare time especially netball.

I have taught in many places over many years but I enjoy working with the talented teachers of St Mary’s the most. I am passionate about nurturing students to their fullest capacity and enjoy making learning fun and engaging. Outside of work, I live and work on a farm, love travelling to my home state of Queensland and going fishing whenever I can.

I love being able to support children in finding their inner strength and calmness whilst on their schooling journey. Outside of school I am a yoga teacher and mum to 3 busy children.

I love being a part of the St Mary’s community because of all the wonderful people I get to interact with every day while supporting children with their well-being needs. Outside of work I am a Mum of two children and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Every child has unique strengths and something special that makes them who they are. I love collaborating with students to encourage these strengths and create environments that support their identity. The most rewarding part of my role is seeing students flourish and thrive at school.

St Mary’s is a wonderful school to work at. The staff are welcoming and there are so many different experiences on offer for the students. Outside of school I enjoy being with my family and going on holidays to chase the sun.

I enjoy seeing students’ improvements throughout the year, it is extremely rewarding being able to help students throughout their schooling journey! Seeing their progression from the beginning of the school year to the end puts a smile on my face. When I am not at work, I enjoy going for walks and travelling.

I enjoy teaching the Wemba Wemba program and working in intervention. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with family and children.

I feel very lucky to be working at St Mary’s.  Every student enters the schoolwith enthusiasm and excitement.  I get so much pleasure witnessing the pride on the faces of studentsas they grown and learn. Outside of school I enjoy exercising and spending time with my four sons.

I love my role as an instructional coach and mentor—supporting teachers and seeing their growth is incredibly rewarding. When I’m not at school, I enjoy playing sports and relaxing with family and friends.

I enjoy teaching art to all levels across the school. It is extremely rewarding seeing the students develop their artistic skills. I believe art speaks all aleisha

languages. When not at school I enjoy being creative with painting and journaling and also being in the garden growing my succulent collection.

I feel so lucky to be an art teacher—helping students express themselves creatively is the best part of my day. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my children and friends.

I love teaching Drama at St Mary’s. I love to encourage and support students to think and act creatively. Outside of school I enjoy dancing,  gardening and welding.

I love that the children at St Mary’s are enthusiastic about PE. It is a great feeling knowing when I come to work each day the children love being active and are keen to learn in PE.

St Mary’s Primary School is a wonderful place to work and I am grateful to work alongside a friendly and supportive staff. I love being a STEM teacher—sparking curiosity and problem-solving in students is the best part of my day. When I’m not at school, I’m busy keeping up with my three boys and enjoying time with family and friends.

I’ve been working at St. Mary’s for fifteen years, I have three sons. I love coming to school everyday and seeing all of the children and their happy faces. We are so lucky to work in a school that has such an amazing staff and beautiful grounds.

I am currently an LSO working at St Mary’s. I absolutely love coming to work everyday, building positive relationships with staff and students, and helping students learn and grow.

I am thankful and honoured to be a part of your child’s learning experience. It allows me to work closely and cooperatively with other members of the St Mary’s community, to provide support to students in the classroom, small groups and one on one settings. The welcoming, nurturing and multicultural atmosphere is breathtaking and fulfilling. 

In my spare time I’m curious about the world and have a strong urge to explore it together with my daughter.

I am honoured to be a part of the St Mary’s team as an LSO, supporting both teachers and students around our beautiful school community. Each day brings something new, and getting to be a part of watching a child grow is a privilege I am grateful to be a part of. 

I have worked at St. Mary’s for many years. I take pride in maintaining the surrounds of our school. I’m lucky I get to see my grandchildren attend here each day along with my daughter. I barrack for Geelong, enjoy being outdoors, water skiing, motorbike riding and restoring classic cars.
